Lucy is relatively new to the Fitness Industry, completing her training over the past year whilst working full time as a Restaurant Manager.  Having previously completed a BSc (Hons) Degree in Equine Science, Lucy entered a career in the Equestrian world training Show-jumping Horses, working hard and succeeding in this role, until a bad fall resulted in a scoliosis (lateral curve) of the lumbar vertebrae, which quickly led to her leaving the industry as she was unable to perform at the required level.
Taking a year out, and travelling the east coast of Australia, Lucy led a very active outdoor lifestyle.  On her return, Lucy took employment in the hospitality industry and was quickly promoted to the position of manager, which she has been doing for the last 9 years.  Lucy has sought treatment in this time from health practitioners such as osteopaths and physiotherapists, learning the importance of improving core stability and overall fitness.  It is as a result of this that Lucy became interested in fitness and working as a personal trainer to help others improve their health and fitness.  Lucy enjoys helping people reach their goals whether it is fitness, weight loss, toning or muscular strength, and will provide a variety of training methods to assist in this process.

As well as working full time at Topnotch as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, Lucy also takes an outdoor exercise class twice a week in Cobham where she lives, and trains private PT clients outside of full-time work in her free time.
