1) Commit to early morning workouts
Why not get out of bed early and make a start

2) Invest in a good pair of trainers
If you are working out in the gym, make sure you have a well designed cross trainer

3) Include one new exercise each month
A lack of variety can affect your motivation. Keep your body on its toes.

4) Never forget your stretches
Take time at the end of every workout to cool down, unwind and stretch your body.
5) Take a body fat test
 It will give you a starting point and
benchmark to measure your progress
against.

6) Take out your favourite item of clothing
Get your favourite jeans or dress (that you haven’t been able to get into for a while).
Keep them in view to help motivate you!

7) Keep a workout log
Write down what you want to achieve,
 and what differences you can see and
feel.
8) Get a training buddy
Find a friend who wants to exercise too. Set a regular training schedule. This will help make sure you turn up, even on those cold rainy days!

9) Keep hydrated
Water is your friend!  Drinking water before, during and after exercise will keep energy levels high and help recovery after training.

10) Reward Yourself!
Rewards are great motivators, so allow yourself a treat once a week if you have kept to your workout plan.
